All adult insects have 6 legs. And dragonflies are no exception. However, unlike other insects, the dragonfly’s legs are not used for movement.
Its 6 legs are an extremely powerful weapon to hunt. The legs combine perfectly and rhythmically with the body every time hunting and “pulling”. Hardly any insects escape. In addition, the legs also work to keep “mate” of it during mating in the sky.
If you look closely at the dragonflies forage during hunting. You will clearly see its teeth. Perhaps you will be obsessed, insomnia when witnessing the way that dragonfly larvae hunt. It shoots its “jaws” and grabs its prey, then retracts them. Looks like an Irish in science fiction movies. As I can observe, its jaws have 4 large teeth above to chew and the 2 largest teeth below the jaws can “shoot out” to grab prey.
